The Tale of the Tape
Current weight: 131 lbs
I stepped on two different types of scales at my gym this morning. One gave me about 131 lbs, the other 131.6 lbs.
I had already run about 2 miles, consumed a gluten-free waffle with a tablespoon of peanut butter, a hard-boiled egg and a small cornbread biscuit, along with my morning coffee and some water.
So…I am probably about 130 lbs at the beginning of this, my second, 10-day Shred.
Right Thigh: 19.75″
According to the handheld device at the gym my Body Fat % is 25 and my BMI is 23.6. Both normal for my height, weight and age!
I had to pull back on my exercise to protect my shoulder from further and greater injury. I had a couple slips in my eating and drinking.
I am human. I am not going to beat myself up for what I didn’t do.
Rather, I am cheering myself for what I did do! What I learned! Continue reading

I popped into Target this morning to peruse the clearance and decided to treat myself to a coffee at the Starbucks (gold card-carrying coffee addict, right here!). Just a tall dark roast that I “doctored” up with a couple raw sugars, a bit of half & half and some of that vanilla powder in the spice shaker (tip: take the lid off and dump as much as you like! it’s way easier that way!!).
