Do It on the Daily

To that end, there are several things that I like to do on the daily in service to this temple that escorts me through my vibrant life!

Juice Plus

I flood my body with 25 servings of fruits & veggies, plus some grains, with my Juice Plus Trio of capsules and Duo of chewables.  I am supporting healthy gums, heart, skin, immune system, lungs & DNA, while fighting oxidative stress & systemic inflammation to improve my quality of life!!

I would love for you to join me!

I drink several 30 oz bottles of water.  I have a refillable container that is often with me, wherever I go.  Our bodies are mostly water (check out a previous blogpost I wrote here) and it is recommended we drink 1/2 of our body weight, in ounces, of water daily!

I usually add 1/8 tsp of MSM powder into one of my 30 oz portions.  MSM is helpful for joint health!

I also take a TB of collagen protein powder in another portion, if not daily, then every other day.  (Collagen is the most abundant protein in our bodies.  Please read my blogpost here.)

In addition to all of the whole food nutrition I get from my Juice Plus, I also take a multi-vitamin, an Omega blend and spirulina.

Our current multivitamin, Ultra Woman from Vitamin World, is chockfull of the vitamins and minerals needed for our mid-40’s bodies!!

Never stop reading!  Engage your brain!!  I read magazines, books & blogs, even some newspapers!  I have a small personal library that includes books on health, the Craft, living fully.  We currently receive both Time magazine and Entertainment Weekly and as AAA members we get a regular periodical.  I like to grab local magazines or newspapers to learn about what is going on in our area and as a reference for restaurants.

I am also an advocate for using your local libraries!

My next certification!

Let me start with this: I do not train!  I live in my body, so movement can be a workout at home or the gym, teaching a fitness class, a walk (preferably on the beach!!) or a jog (also on the beach…especially since running is not a favorite form of exercise for me).  Moving daily does not have to be something that raises your target heart rate!!!  It just needs to be something that gets you up from the couch!

TRX and Kickboxing are my two favorite forms of exercise.

If you would like help with this, please don’t hesitate to contact me through my Facebook page: Inspired Living with Jennifer Mojica.

Guilty Pleasures

A couple of mine are watching the Real Housewives (NY, NJ and the OC) and Top Chef (which I am watching at this very moment!  Season 14 Charleston).

“Me” time

In addition to your Guilty Pleasures, build in other “me” time activities.  One of the things that I would like to start incorporating into my daily life, even 5 minutes, is meditation.  In our bedroom, I have created an area to sit with a silky blanket and a couple of pillows, with a salt glow lamp, decorative stars, books and a camper Scentsy.

Don’t forget self-care:  massages, facials, hot baths (add Epsom salts when your muscles are sore from exercise), haircut &/or color.

Do you have a hobby?  Have you been wanting to take up one?  Grab a paintbrush, jewelry beads, crafting supplies!

Journaling is also an excellent way to carve out some “me” time, while delving deep into yourself.

Yeah, I love my java!

At home, I use an electric French press and almond or coconut milk creamer.

My favorite brand of coffee is illy!  I first discovered it at the Venetian in Las Vegas.  I enjoy the smooth taste and it also brings back a great vacation memory!

So, what are your Do It on the Daily??

Let me hear from you in the comments.
